Amex OPEN: Feed Your Business Brain

Momentum hired Colorfield to work on the development of a touch-screen based experience for the American Express’ OPEN small business services. Similar to ‘Concentration’, the game allows users to match Amex small-business products and services while trying to beat the clock.

Before playing, users could brush up on their knowledge with an Android tablet-based version of the game, set-up on several tablets in a dedicated practice area. Once they felt confident, a charismatic host invited players to play on the big screen in front of a live audience. A high-score board tracked the results and each day’s top winner was given a tablet to take home.

The installation debuted at CES in Las Vegas and was a key component at several other events around the U.S.
