Subaru: Dog Tested. Dog Approved.

Colorfield worked with Carmichael Lynch on the creation of their annual ‘Dog Tested. Dog Approved’ online campaign. The campaign launches to coincide with Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl (the same day and time as the Super Bowl), giving the Subaru target audience (who are more than two times more likely to have a dog) a great way to engage with canine’s while the rest of the country is watching football. In addition to lots of dogs, the campaign features Grant Weber, a Subaru sales associate who sells cars to dogs.

This year’s Facebook-based experience included 4 apps:

  • Ask an Expert - chat in real-time with a Subaru-savvy dog.
  • Dog Driver’s Licenses - create a license for your dog from any of the 50 states.
  • Subaru Dog Matchmaker - tell us a little about your pooch and we’ll recommend the right Subaru for you.
  • Put Your Dog in a Subaru - a campy app that lets you upload a pic of your dog and put them in the Subaru of your choice.
